After a hectic finals week, I flew back to Los Angeles for the weekend to visit family and attend my friends Dana and Scott’s wedding. As usual, it’s nice to be back in what I like to refer to as my natural habitat, and getting to roam around my favorite parts of town. As you can see, it didn’t take long before I was back in my usual uniform consisting of shorts and a casual shirt. What can I say? I’ll never cease to be a SoCal girl at heart and there’s no better outfit for warm sunny days in my opinion.

I chopped my hair off a few weeks ago, but I have been so bad about blogging that this is the first time my new do makes its debut on the blog. After years of growing out my hair, it took quite the courage to get rid of so many inches. I’m glad I did, though, because I love the new style and it is so much easier to manage.

One of the best parts about being back in Los Angeles is getting to hang out with my sisters and partners in crime. They’ve always been such a huge part of this blog, but rarely ever make an appearance. That’s why I thought that, for a change, I’d also share a few pictures of my sister Sarah and her enviable street style. We each have a very distinct sense of style, but I can’t help but to admire how cool she looks all the time.

I haven’t been very good about posting on this blog in the past few weeks, or participating in the blog community in any way. I wish I could say that I’ve been on some grand adventure, but really I’ve just been trying to get enough sleep. Grad school, work and just trying to make time for a normal social life. There’s so much to say about adjusting to life in a new place, but I’ll save that for another blog post when I have time to sit down and reflect. As always, thanks for visiting!
