This ribbed tee in olive is one of the few high neck shirts I bought from Uniqlo. I love the style for this time of year because it’s warm and cozy, pairs well with many items in my wardrobe, and looks effortlessly cool all at the same time.
These camel  booties from Cole Haan are also a recent addition to my wardrobe since realized that most of my shoe collection is not appropriate for Portland’s cold winter weather. I was originally looking for a simple Chelsea boot in brown. However, I was drawn to these because of the cutout detail and side buckle. You wouldn’t think so, but these booties work very well with a pair of cute socks peeking. Therefore, it hasn’t been a problem for me to keep my feet warm.
On my lips, I’m wearing the MAC X Selena lipstick in ‘Dreaming of You,’ a gorgeous deep wine lipstick that is perfect for the holidays. Having grown up in a Spanish-speaking household, Selena was constantly playing in the background. That is why I was very excited when MAC announced this special collection honoring the late singer. Most products sold out soon after they were released, but I was lucky enough to have my sisters purchase all the shades for me as an early Christmas present.
If you haven’t guessed by the lack of layering that is going on in this outfit, I’m back in LA visiting my family for a few weeks. I’ll be here through the end of the year and am looking forward to getting some
much-needed break from all my responsibilities, catch up on sleep and just enjoy the sunshine.
xoxo,
Helen
