This is another set of outfit photos from when I flew back to LA. Although I was only there for a few days, I couldn’t leave without making a trip to Downtown, so Ale and I went out for coffee and wandered around the area. Since the weather was warm and sunny, in comparison to Portland, I was able to take a break from layering and just wore this boxy tee from Everlane. This tee is one of my new favorite pieces for many reasons. First of all, I love the thick black and white striped pattern and relaxed boxy shape, because I think they make this tee look a bit more interesting in comparison to other striped tops. Secondly, I love that it’s made of thick material, so it can easily be worn alone or layered as a sweater over a button down shirt. I personally think this tee would also look great layered over a fitted black dress or paired with black pencil skirt.

Speaking of experimenting with layers in Portland, it’s been pretty impossible for me to find time to venture out and take outfit photos these past few weeks. I feel like, with work and school, I’m always constantly running from one place to another, and sometimes can’t even seem to find the time to connect with friends. I’m hoping this is just and adjustment period and my schedule won’t feel so hectic next year. Luckily, I did manage to find some time to escape my homework cave this weekend, and headed out to the Portland Night Market with my friend Candace. The event consisted mostly of art, booze, food and coffee, which is always an amazing combination in my book. I did remember to bring my camera and take photos, so hopefully I’ll be able to share those with you soon!
