It finally rained in Los Angeles this past weekend, and I’m hoping that the weather will stay gray for a little while longer. I recently bought a new coat, and I would like to wear it more than once before Spring arrives. And, regardless of my wardrobe preferences, the State of California is in dire need of rain since it’s been very dry this winter season.While we’re on the topic of rain and cold weather, let’s go back and talk more about my outerwear–I’ve always wanted a cool military jacket ever since I was in high school and I saw a picture of Julian Casablancas from The Strokes wearing one. The Strokes were my favorite band, and I loved everything about Julian Casablancas’ style, from the skinny jeans to the Converse shoes. But, what I really coveted was a military jacket to complete my look. Luckily for me, after years of searching, I’m finally able to emulate my style muse with this new military coat that I bought.
