I’ve had this oversized camel sweater coat for over a year and finally wore it for the first time last week. I would often shy away from wearing the piece because I thought it made me look frumpy. However, I finally realized that I just needed to play around with the proportions of my outfit in order to make it work. In this outfit, I wore a tight turtleneck top and fitted high waisted jeans in order to balance out the loose and oversize fit of this sweater coat. You can also add a belt around the waist to give this piece a bit more shape. I’m so glad that I finally figured out how to wear this coat because it is extremely warm and comfortable, and I really love the warm coffee shade.

In other news, I’ll be done with finals in just a few days. It’s been a very challenging first term of grad school, and I’m really looking forward to driving back home and enjoying the California sun for a couple of weeks. I just have to remain caffeinated and power through the next week before I do! Wish me luck!
