Today I’m showing off a few pieces from the PrettyLittleThing x Olivia Culpo capsule collection. I’m a huge fan of Olivia’s style, so I was really excited when PrettyLittleThing contacted me about trying out a few pieces for this blog. There are so many gorgeous pieces in the PrettyLittleThing x Olivia Culpo collection, that it was hard for me to choose just a few. Ultimately, I settled for this crop top and wide-leg pants because both seemed versatile enough to fit in with the rest of my wardrobe.
I absolutely love both items that I picked out. The frill sleeves on this crop top look very cute and romantic, making this a great piece for when you want to look dressed up with minimal effort. I also like that it has a bit of stretch, so it fits perfectly.
I do have to admit that I was a little hesitant about these high waist wide-leg pants at first. They were a bit too long and I was not sure if they would flatter my shape. However, all it took was taking a pair of scissors to shorten the hem and they fit like a glove! They are very stretchy, so I love how they accentuate my shape without hugging in all the wrong places. In addition, these trousers are super comfortable, so you can also pair them with an oversized sweater for a cute loungewear look.
As you can tell, Autumn is just around the corner here in Portland. Even though temperatures were unbearably warm a few weeks back, we’ve been getting some major sweater weather this past week. I’m excited about unpacking my fall/winter wardrobe because it always feels like I’ve gone on a huge shopping spree. Anybody else get that feeling whenever the seasons change?
