Although we’re only a few days into December, I’m in full holiday mode over here. To be honest, I’ve been in the holiday spirit for a few weeks. I actually put up my decorations a day or two before Thanksgiving because I just couldn’t wait. I decided against a tree this year but did add twinkle lights and a few fun decorations to my mantle.
Aside from the decor, there’s just so many things that I enjoy about the holidays; I love all the traditions, the cheerful vibe that is everywhere you go and being able to celebrate it all with friends and family. However, let’s not forget all the food! I’m really looking forward to eating all the delicious traditional Mexican food my family cooks up this time of year like tamales and buñuelos.

Holiday Gift Guide for the Girl
When it comes to finding the perfect gift for the special women in my life, I try to pick something that fits their aesthetic and that they will use often and cherish for a long time. One example of that is this winter candle from Anthropologie; If you’re anything like me and enjoy filling your home with holiday scents, then you’ll love this gift. What I like about this candle is that you can repurpose the container and use it as a planter once you’ve burnt the candle all the way down.
I also like gifts that seem to be made specifically for that person like these monogram mugs. These mugs definitely check off all the criteria I mentioned above and make it seem like you put in extra effort into finding a gift that is unique to the recipient, without having to try too hard.
When it comes to gifts that the women in my life will use often, I think going for something practical is key. For example, this S’well water bottle is something they can use daily and is super cute. I think accessories like this beanie or this scarf, also make a great practical gift, especially if they fit the season.
