    It’s finally hit me that the holiday season is here now that I’m on vacation and back home in Los Angeles. I’ve been so busy with work and school that I haven’t had time to think about what Christmas presents to buy my loved ones, and I don’t have much of a holiday wish list myself. I spent part of my day online window shopping and came up with a few things that I think would work for many of the women on my holiday gift list, as well as for myself.     Playing with Proportions

    I’ve had this oversized camel sweater coat for over a year and finally wore it for the first time last week. I would often shy away from wearing the piece because I thought it made me look frumpy. However, I finally realized that I just needed to play around with the proportions of my outfit in order to make it work. In this outfit, I wore a tight turtleneck top and fitted high waisted jeans in order to balance out the loose and oversize fit of this sweater coat. You can also add a belt around the waist to give this piece a bit more shape. I’m so glad that I finally figured out how to wear this coat because it is extremely warm and comfortable, and I really love the warm coffee shade.
