Breaking Away from Routine in This Floral Dress from Sézane

Sezane floral dress - dresses to help you feel put together with minimal effort.

While I probably won’t be venturing outside my neighborhood anytime soon, I still couldn’t resist adding this beautiful floral dress from Sézane to my wardrobe. I was immediately drawn to the bold and fun print and liked that the length was perfect for petite girls. (I’m around 5’3″ for reference.)

I have to admit, however, that this dress is a bit pricey. But after having to cancel a trip in May and feeling that I had put a lot of things on hold, I felt like I deserved a special treat to brighten up my days. This Sézane floral dress does just that for many reasons. To start, I immediately feel gorgeous when I put it on, even with the most minimal effort.

Aside from being cute, the best thing about this dress is that it makes me look forward to brighter days ahead. I imagine the places that I’ll go and adventures that I’ll have when wearing this dress. On that note, when adding a new item to my wardrobe, I always want to make sure that it’ll be something that I can wear over and over for years to come. I think it’s easy to say that this piece fits the bill.

Adjusting to New Changes

As some of you know, I recently moved back to LA. After a year of putting things on hold, I was looking forward to feeling settled again. I had a list of things I wanted to do, I was looking forward to getting back on the dating scene, and, most importantly, I was excited to just be able to hang out with family.

Despite how crazy things are right now, I’m still so grateful for so many things. For starters, I’m living with my sister and it’s so nice to have her as a partner in crime during this time. Being back in SoCal is also so refreshing. The sunshine and warm weather make me feel so energized! And although beaches and trails are currently closed, it’s nice to know that they’ll be just a hop and a skip away when I can finally visit.

So, to end on that note, what do you guys feel grateful for at this moment? And what are you looking forward to the most once things start to shift back to normal?
