Today, I’m sharing two vacation-inspired outfits in collaboration with PrettyLittleThing. For me, packing for a vacation means being prepared for various types of adventures. Of course, if you’re anything like me, you’ll end up overpacking your carryon bag. That is why I picked out two distinct outfits that are cute, versatile, and perfect for when you’re tight on space. Pinup Vacation Vibes
My first vacation style pick is this cute pinup inspired look that’s good for day or night. I love the cute button detail and A-line shape of this white cotton mini skirt (c/o). I ordered this in a size 2, my usual size, and it fits perfectly and comfortably. Also, the cotton fabric is so lightweight, making it perfect for the heatwave we’ve been enduring. It is a little seethrough, however, so I’d advise wearing nude-colored underwear.
I was a little unsure about the fabric and color of this Bardot top (also c/o) when I first received it in the mail. However, it looks very flattering once it’s on! It’s versatile as well! Since receiving it in the mail, I’ve also worn it with my Everlane crop pants and it looks good with jeans too.
As many of you know, I take many of my own photos. I didn’t quite feel like braving the crowds to take these photos, so I held a photoshoot inside my tiny studio apartment. That reminded me that I’ve been promising you all a tour ever since I moved in here, so I’ll make sure to get on that soon. In the meantime, I hope you’ve enjoyed this preview!
Casual Vibes
My second vacation style look is this casual but fun outfit. These pink floral culottes and white shirred top (both c/o) were the perfect things to wear for my hike up to Portland’s famous rose garden. It was a bit chilly in the morning, so I layered on my denim jacket and threw on my trusty Stan Smiths. The great thing about this outfit is that you can easily dress it up by throwing on a pair of heels. So, it’s a great look to pack in your suitcase.
One note, though, is to size up on these pants if you’re in between sizes. I got them in my usual size, but they were a bit tight around the waist.
