Outfit
I’ve loved the Everlane wide leg pants ever since I first bought them in white (as seen here). That is why I didn’t have to give it a second thought to purchase them in a different color. I bought this ochre brown color because I liked how it looked online and thought it would add variety to my wardrobe. I think the deep brown color adds a nice balance to more girly pieces like this top from the Who What Wear x Target collection. It also pairs well with a strappy silk tank or cute crop top. Plus, I need to emphasize the comfort of this piece. It’s so easy to move in, the fabric has a good amount of stretch, and the wide leg fit is perfect for summer.
Since I’m not the best at accessorizing, I also try to purchase items that have a bit of flare to them. This mixed lace top from the Who What Wear collection definitely fits the bill. I absolutely love the drama sleeves and lace detail. Furthermore, I’m a fan of the price tag! Who What Wear has come out with some incredibly cute and reasonably priced pieces, and I always find myself going to see if there’s anything new everytime I’m at Target. This striped dress is next on my wish list! Are you a fan of the collection?

I hope you all had a great weekend and have an exciting week ahead of you. I have to be honest that I’m already looking forward to the next weekend when my friend from back home will be visiting me. It’s always fun to show people around my new home! Plus, I’m also counting down the days before I head out to New Orleans at the end of this month, to celebrate my sister Sarah’s 21st birthday. I’ve never been, so it will be a fun experience for all of us. Let me know if you have any must-sees to add to my itinerary!

Thrift shopping has become one of my favorite pastimes over the past year for many reasons. I love the sustainability aspect of it and knowing that I’m helping the environment. But even more, I enjoy the thrill and challenge of giving new life to another person’s “trash.” This black ribbed mini dress is one of my recent and most favorite finds and I struggle to understand why anybody would get rid of it.
